What is deleted

  • Your Vault Up account: name, email address and user ID.
  • Your Google Drive backup: goals, deposits and withdrawals, income, savings plan, settings, lives used and emergency history.
  • Vault Up’s access to your Google Drive is revoked.
  • When deleted in the app: everything on your phone too, including your PIN and locked apps (all apps unlock). If you delete here, also uninstall the app or sign out on your phone to clear what’s stored there.

What is kept

  • Anonymous usage statistics (for example “a deposit was added”), which never include amounts, goal names or notes and aren’t linked to your name or email. They’re removed automatically after at most 14 months.
  • Nothing else.

Delete some data, keep your account

  • One deposit or withdrawal: tap it in Activity or a goal’s history, then tap the bin icon.
  • A goal and all its entries: open the goal and tap the bin icon at the top.
  • Your Drive backup: Settings → Backup & account, turn off automatic backup, then in Google Drive on the web open Settings → Manage apps → Vault Up → Options → Delete hidden app data.
  • Everything on your phone: Settings → Sign out.
